About
Raised in Wisconsin and Idaho, I like to say I was nurtured on beer, brats, cheese and the Green Bay Packers and cultivated by the mountains and Idahoan wildlife. After graduating high school in Idaho, I moved to Missoula, MT, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and French.
After graduating from the University of Montana, I packed my bags for New York City. I graduated at the prime time in 2007 just as the job market took a hit, leaving college graduates stranded and scrambling to find the right career. My first novel, Surviving the Malaka, was inspired by my year living in New York City. I moved to Seattle, WA after one year in the Big Apple.
Most of my career has been spent in online content editing and writing articles for the web. In my free-time, I have taken creative writing courses, tutored in English writing and worked on writing my manuscripts. I have also dabbled in writing for blogs.
Along with my passion for writing comes my passion for travel and adventure. In my 34 years, I have lived in Wisconsin, Idaho, Montana, Washington, New York and Paris. I travel out of the country every year for adventure and inspiration for writing. I hope to one day combine the travel experiences into a novel.
